This is the time of year when Oracle NetSuite organizes SuiteWorld and meets with its several stakeholders to discuss the company’s plans for the future. The founder and executive vice president of NetSuite, Evan Goldberg, spoke to more than 7,500 people at SuiteWorld 2024 in Las Vegas. Given that this year’s SuiteWorld is the biggest yet, Goldberg discussed the company’s expansion and stressed how NetSuite has reached a noteworthy milestone by having over 40,000 clients worldwide.

Oracle NetSuite to open data Centre in India

One of the keynote’s main points in the SuiteWorld 2024 was the growth of NetSuite’s global cloud infrastructure. According to Goldberg, the 36 data centres spread around 17 nations will include the construction of new facilities in Brazil and India. After Tokyo and Osaka, India will be the third country in Asia to have NetSuite establish a data centre. The organisation intends to enter the Brazilian market in addition to India.

“We are going where our clients are. India and Brazil are the next two regions we’re expanding into since we’ve had fantastic success with new consumers there,” Goldberg told the reporters at a press event.

In 2025, NetSuite intends to extend its global cloud infrastructure in India by constructing two new data centers in the Hyderabad and Mumbai OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) areas. In response to a question about the plan explicitly, Goldberg stated, “This strategic expansion aligns with NetSuite’s commitment to following customer growth and demand, particularly in regions where its customer base is rapidly increasing.”

He explained that these data centers will help “businesses in the region with the robust infrastructure needed to scale efficiently” by offering improved performance, dependability, and localized service as a result of their “success in attracting new customers in India.”

NetSuite also formally unveiled Redwood, the new design system created by Oracle’s User Experience (UX) team, at the same event. Oracle’s Senior Vice President of UX Design, Hillel Cooperman, discussed the new UX and said his team wanted to make the program more “adaptable and intuitive for users.”

What is Oracle NetSuite Data Centre?

Data centers are large, physical locations used for processing, storing, and caching vast volumes of digital data. For servers and networking gear, they essentially act as enormous warehouses. They also offer scalable storage for a wide range of items, including cloud services, websites, apps, and pretty much anything else that is a part of expansive Internet of Things (IoT).

Furthermore, data centers serve as the backbone of the internet and sustain our globally interconnected society. They handle and send the enormous amounts of digital data that allow our everyday life to be connected through devices.

At present, Oracle NetSuite runs three separate data centers in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America. If one data centre ceases to function, each data center has a counterpart that offers data mirroring, disaster recovery, and failover capabilities in its area. Due to its cloud infrastructure’s several layers of redundancy, the NetSuite service is multi-tenant by default.
